£10.00 per hour (Mon – Fri) (plus £5.00 per additional dog from the same household)
Your dog(s) will go out for a 60-minute walk around the local area. Dog walks may include walking the coastal paths of Torbay, of which there are many. Some walks will be on the lead roadside walks to continue the hard work you have put in lead training your dog(s). However, it is also important that they enjoy a good playtime, with lots of games and running around off lead* when possible.
Most walks are on a 1-2-1 basis which is great for those dogs who are a little more reserved when making dog friends. Solo walks ensure each dog’s safety and avoids unnecessary stress; providing each dog with all of my attention during their walk.
We all worry about what our dogs are up to when we aren’t around. So you will be kept up to date with their adventures with occasional photos and/or updates. I will advise you of how the walk went if you are around when dropping your dog home. I completely understand how great, and reassuring, it is to see your dog(s) enjoying themselves. You can always check us out on Facebook or Instagram
Owners are asked to provide all leads, collars, harnesses/ halti’s, and muzzles that maybe required during the walk. However, it is not necessary for you to provide any toys, poo bags or seat belts.
Please note that there are limited spaces available on a first come first serve basis. This calendar does not show live availability, but was correct at the time of publishing (January 2021)
*Dogs will only be taken off the lead, with the owner’s expressed consent, and only where it is safe and legal. I reserve the right to walk any dog off the lead only when it is safe.
Legal requirements of dog walking
It’s a legal requirement for dogs to wear a collar with a correctly engraved tag attached when in public. It is also a legal requirement for your dog to be microchipped. Unfortunately, I cannot walk any dogs that are not microchipped and without a tag attached to their collar.
